In this edition of WebRidesTV.com’s coverage of the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show we bring you one of the few cars on this planet that will turn your head, as covered by our very own beautiful Jessica (who is likely to turn your head as well). That’s right; we are covering the stylish, powerful, fast and classy Bentley GT Speed.
First off, let me say that the Bentley Continental GT is equipped with a massive 6.0L, twin-turbocharged W12 engine, producing 603 hp, with a top speed of 202 mph. Essentially, this is the luxury car that you can take out onto the track and spank most cars in existence (if winning races and being luxurious are your things). This whole package is expected to get you from 0-60 mph in roughly 4.3 seconds. It also happens to be that the Bentley Continental GT holds the world speed record on ice on the frozen Baltic sea near Finland. The car averaged 199.86 mph in both directions, reaching 207 mph in the top-end. That means this car outperformed the Bugatti EB 110 – which previously held the record. I did mention this was in a 5000lb Bentley, didn’t I?
Of course, for a £137,000 price tag you’ll be receiving a brilliant car with four wheel drive, all leather interior, wood trim, spectacular gauges, a sublime transmission, and a car that virtually drives itself. There’s even room for the kids and groceries in the trunk! What’s not to like?!
