Amber Goetz gets a second chance to visit with Tim and Tuls from Fireball Tim's Racing and Studio, the proud owners of the Fireballed Racing Team. In the first tour of the shop, the always stunning Amber got a look at some tricked out Mini's including a 600 horsepower BMW built Mini Cooper good for mid-10's in the quarter mile.
In this second part of the tour of Tim's shop, Amber gets a look at how the shop takes a stock Mini and turns it into a monster on the street and strip. Tim breaks down the shop into 5 areas called sectors. Each sector has a different part in the transformation process. The first sector of the shop is known as Tuner Bay, where all the cars get disassembled and the appropriate engine modifications get bolted on. The second sector is the Design Sector, or where all the creative juices flow when it comes to the aesthetics of the cars. The shop is still undergoing an internal redesign and transformation and Tim wouldn't tell us too much about it so look for new things from the boys at Fireballed in the near future.
Tim gives Amber a look at one of 100 movie inspired cars in a partnership with South Bay Mini, a convertible called the Neo. Each of the 100 cars is set to have its own unique theme specific to that car, making each a one-off custom. Tim cites science fiction as one of the biggest drivers of his creativity, for in his words one must "create something from nothing". Tim's genius is fueled by not only the world around him but also by his talented surrounding cast at Fireballed. He takes it so seriously, his name is legally Fireball Tim Lawrence. Enjoy.
